At 8:31:28 AM on March 20, the Tiandu-1 and Tiandu-2 communication and navigation technology test satellites were successfully launched into space from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in China by a Long March-8 Y3 carrier rocket. As the first satellite in the deep space exploration laboratory, Tiandu carries the Chang'e-7 lunar exploration mission's relay satellite (Queqiao-2), providing preliminary technology verification for establishing the Earth-Moon "Queqiao Network."

On April 3, after a 13-day flight, Tiandu-1 and Tiandu-2 successfully separated and adjusted their relative distance to approximately 200 kilometers. Subsequently, they conducted verifications of new technologies, including lunar orbital navigation space reference heterogeneous calibration, a new integrated Ka-band communication and ranging system experiment, and high-reliability transmission and routing between the Earth and the Moon.

The power system for the Tiandu-2 communication and navigation technology test satellite was developed by Suzhou Fuchang Space Technology Co., Ltd., providing power to the payload and various subsystems of the satellite platform. The Tiandu test satellite uses a combined configuration for Earth-Moon orbit transfer, braking capture, and orbit adjustment. Facing both extremely hot and extremely cold operating environments, Tiandu-2 placed higher demands on the power system. Suzhou Fuchang Space Technology Co., Ltd. tackled the corresponding technical challenges, developing high-performance, high-reliability power products to ensure the satellite's stable and reliable on-orbit operation.

The Tiandu-2 satellite was developed under the overall leadership of Harbin Institute of Technology. It is Fuchang Space's longest-range (380,000 km) on-orbit power system to date. The successful on-orbit flight of this model further promotes Fuchang Space's development of low-cost deep-space power technology. The company will continue to uphold its philosophy of technological innovation and high-quality products, injecting more power and wisdom into space exploration.
