At 10:00 AM Beijing time on November 27, 2024, LandSpace's Zhuque-2 improved Y1 carrier rocket (ZQ-2E Y1) was launched from the LandSpace liquid oxygen methane rocket launch site in the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Test Zone, successfully sending the Guangchuan 01 and 02 experimental satellites into their predetermined orbits. The flight test mission was a complete success.

Everlight Space developed a new type of ROSA roll-up flexible solar array to power the Guangchuan 01 and 02 experimental satellites. After the two satellites entered orbit, the solar array deployed successfully, and telemetry data from the solar cell circuits were normal. This mission marks the first successful in-orbit flight of a domestically produced ROSA roll-up flexible solar array as a satellite's main power source. This signifies a significant step forward for Everlight Space in the research and development of large-scale flexible solar array technology and products for aerospace, laying a solid foundation for subsequent technology and product iterations and serving space missions, including the construction of large commercial space constellations.

Everlight Space specializes in the research, design, and manufacturing of power systems for commercial aerospace satellites and their key individual components. These include PCDUs, Lithium-ion Battery Packs, Solar Arrays, Solar Array Deployment Mechanisms, Solar Array Drive Mechanisms, and Sun Sensors. Since its inception, it has conducted over 60 launch missions, enabling its products to be deployed in orbit for over 200 satellites.
Everlight Space remains committed to its initial vision of providing high-quality foundational products to support national aerospace and defense endeavors. The company aims to become a dynamic, large-scale, and well-managed innovative startup, striving to be a vital link in the commercial aerospace industry chain.
