Product Introduction
The Power Conditioning and Distribution Unit (PCDU) is a core component of the satellite electrical power system, integrating five key functional modules: a solar array regulator, a battery charge/discharge regulator, a voltage regulator, a power distribution unit, and a power management unit. It undertakes the critical tasks of power conditioning, storage control, distribution and intelligent management for satellites, providing a reliable energy guarantee for the entire on-orbit operation of the satellite.
The solar array regulator stabilizes and converts the variable output voltage of the solar array into the standard main bus voltage of the satellite. The battery charge/discharge regulator precisely controls the charging process of the on-board battery pack during the illumination period and regulates its discharge output to the main bus during the eclipse period, ensuring uninterrupted power supply. The voltage regulator further converts the main bus voltage into the specific voltage levels required by various on-board payloads and platform subsystems. The power management unit real-time monitors the operating parameters of all other modules, executes remote control commands from the ground, and triggers protective measures in case of abnormalities to ensure system safety.
We have developed a full range of PCDU models tailored to satellites of different power classes, which are widely applicable to remote sensing satellites, low-orbit communication satellites, navigation enhancement satellites and other types of spacecraft. In addition, we also provide customized design services to meet the personalized power system requirements of various satellite projects
