The first flight of a modified variant of its ZQ 2 methane-propelled carrier rocket At 10:00 am Beijing time on November 27, 2024, transporting two satellites(GuangChuan 01GuangChuan 02) into orbit. The mission was a complete success.

Everlight Space has developed a ROSA solar wing for the Guangchuan 01 and 02 satellites. After the two satellites entered orbit, the solar wing was successfully deployed, and the telemetry data of the solar cell circuit was normal. This mission is the first successful in-orbit flight of ROSA solar wing as the main power source of satellites in China. It marks an important step for Everlight Space in the research and development of large-scale flexible solar wing technology and product development in aerospace, laying a good foundation for subsequent technology and product iterations and space missions.
